Thursday Think Tank: International Dot Day 2014

This year as I am in a new school and teaching a new grade level, we are not celebrating International Dot Day by having an event. I did take the last few minutes of each class to share about International Dot Day and let the students watch this great video of the book and then had them make a dot creation on an index card.

Even if I didn't get to do a huge celebration this year on my new campus(look out next year!) I did get to drop by my old school and celebrate with them! I got to be in charge of the Photo Booth which the current art teacher did some amazing frames for pictures so cool!

The crew that worked so hard for the International Dot Day event!

Look at this great Photo Booth idea!
I feel like I'm apart of instagram!

The one and only Andrea Keller!

Then Andrea Keller my friend over at Ideas from a Busy Bee asked me to read my all time favorite book EVER The Dot to everyone! It was so much fun! I really enjoyed seeing some of my former students and catching up with my former colleagues. What a great night!

What did you do for International Dot Day 2014?
